Lourdes School of Mandaluyong bids goodbye to Manual Election through Genyo e-Learning
Lourdes School of Mandaluyong paves the way for innovation as they use Genyo e-Learning in their Student Council Election.
The election was held last June 30, 2011 and July 1, 2011 at the Genyo Computer laboratory. Eager and excited students from the 4th – 7th grade set aside the usual ballots and hovered their mouse as they vote for their chosen candidates. After all the students voted, the Learning Integration Specialist (LIS) and the School Student Government Coordinator generated the results in a click of a button.
Different feedbacks were heard both from the students and the teachers. Some of the comments were, “Voting through Genyo saves a lot of time”, “Automated election doesn’t affect the flow of classes that much”, and “the online election minimized the burden of the teachers in manually collecting and counting the votes of the students”. The students were also pleased with Student-Election-the-Genyo-way saying that “…voting through Genyo is amazing and awesome since the school’s really upgrading on their voting system.”
Easy, fast, hassle-free, and truly an advanced Student Council Election – with all these advantages, LSM looks forward to another year of Student Council Election with their newest ally, Genyo e-Learning.
